OUR VERDICT

Is it right for you?

Liberty 4 NC is a candidate for someone who wants a broader set of listening adjustments and connections. Those controls are useful only if you use them, so compare the app and device compatibility before choosing. The NC version is a distinct model from Liberty 4 and other Liberty generations.

Before you buy

The NC suffix matters

Liberty 4 NC and Liberty 4 are separate earbuds with different features. Match the full model name when comparing the case, codecs, and controls. LDAC requires a compatible source device and app settings; its availability should not be assumed for every phone.

Compare battery figures in the same mode

The listed Normal and ANC battery totals use different settings. Compare the per-charge ANC figure if your main use is a noisy journey, and remember that case totals include repeated recharges. Noise-reduction percentages are manufacturer claims under stated conditions, not a measurement from our own testing.
