OUR VERDICT

Is it right for you?

This PowerPort is for a desk or travel setup with several smaller devices and one compatible USB-C laptop. The 63W total is split across the ports; the main USB-C port is rated up to 45W. It is not a 63W output for every connected device.

Separate total power from port power

The listing gives a 63W total with a 45W USB-C port and an 18W USB-C port. That distinction matters if a laptop is the main device you want to charge. Compare the laptop minimum requirement with the relevant port rating and check the distribution when other devices are connected.

A desktop charger has a different footprint

A detachable mains lead lets the charger sit on a table instead of directly at an outlet. That may be convenient for several short device cables. It also adds another item to pack, so compare the full charger-and-cord setup with a smaller wall charger for your routine.
